How mutations combine
Environment mutations add: Wet (2x) and Shocked (100x) together give 1 + 1 + 99 = 101x. Some pairs merge into a new mutation — Wet + Chilled becomes Frozen — which the calculator handles for you. Read the mutation guide for strategy.
Frequently asked questions
What is the highest mutation in Grow a Garden?
Among standard mutations, Astral (365x) is the highest. It forms when a Cosmic crop (Celestial + Aurora) also gets Galactic.
Do mutations stack?
Yes, but they add together rather than multiply: the multiplier is 1 plus each mutation’s bonus above 1. Only growth variants (Silver, Gold, Rainbow) multiply the total.
How do I get the Shocked mutation?
Leave crops out during Thunderstorm weather. Lightning strikes turn fruit Shocked, worth 100x.
